The mask dates to the 1950-60's.
The "Lakhe" Dance is one of the most popular dances of Nepal. This once feared Demon became Protector of the People and is venerated by Dances and Sacrificial Offerings.
Measurements: The mask measures 12 x 12 inches, woven cushion and ropes are still evident.
