This rare type Art Glass was created in India in the 1940-70's specifically for trade with Naga Tribal Groups in Northern India, and Burma. They also traveled through the Cultural Trade Routes to Nepal and Tibet, where they were highly prized for their unusual colors, shapes and vivid patterns. These gorgeous trade beads became precious cultural heirlooms treasured through Generations.
