Hand Moulded Glass Trade Beads Resembling Floral "Millefiori 1000 Flower" Glass were created in India in the 1940-70's specifically for trade with Naga Tribal Groups in Northern India, and Burma. They also traveled through the Cultural Trade Routes to Nepal and Tibet, where they were highly prized for their unusual pink color and their "marble-like" floral glass insets. These exotic Trade Beads were easily adopted as a precious cultural heirloom in their own right.
