  • Saint Aloysius Gonzaga is known for his holiness, piety, and devotion to serving the poor, which led him to become a Jesuit priest and the Patron Saint of Youth. He is particularly remembered for his work caring for plague victims in Rome, where he contracted the disease and died at the young age of 23. He is also known as the Patron Saint of AIDS Patients and Caregivers due to his compassionate service to the sick.
  • Saint Aloysius Gonzaga (Feast Day: June 21) is the Patron Saint of Youth, in large part because he died at age 23. 
  • The picture is unframed and in great condition with bright color and detail.  There is minor wear and flakes as evidenced in the photos.
  • Overall measurements are approximately 10" x 14" and pictures San Luis Gonzaga.
  • He is pictured standing next to a table holding a crucifix.  On the table are a scourge, crown, book, skull, and vase of lilies.  An uncommon image.
