Natural "Water Amber" Disc Necklace

As Shown
  • Natural rough "Water Amber" disc from the Guinea Bissau, West Africa.
  • Although these unusual beads have appeared in the West African Bead Trade for over two decades, there is little actually known about these "Amber" rough rondelle shaped beads. They appear to be a type of young petrified, if not partially fossilized, tree sap resin. They are found mainly in river beds in Guinea Bissau.
  • 30" deerskin leather cord
  • Amber disc 1.25" in diameter.
