- Hand Wound Glass Trade Beads Resembling Precious Red Coral created in India in the 1940-70's specifically for trade with Naga Tribal Groups in Northern India, and Burma. They also traveled through the Cultural Trade Routes to Nepal and Tibet, where they were highly prized for their resemblance to precious coral dowry beads. These gorgeous trade beads became precious cultural heirlooms for their extravagantly rich color in their own right.
